Everything buyers ask us, answered plainly

If your question is not answered here, ask us directly and one of our implementation consultants will get back to you.

Product and scope

A focused finance-and-inventory scope is typically live in 6 to 10 weeks. Adding manufacturing, projects or an industry module usually extends that to 3 to 5 months, and most of that time goes on data migration and testing your real document cycles, not on configuring software.

Yes. The interface, printed documents and reports are available in Arabic and English, and each user chooses their own language. Invoices, payslips and statements can be issued bilingually where a counterparty needs it.

Opening balances, the chart of accounts, customer and supplier master data, item catalogues and fixed-asset registers are migrated as standard. Historical transactional detail can be brought across or archived for reference, depending on how far back you need to query.

Both are supported. Cloud hosting is the usual choice for multi-branch operations; on-premise remains common where a regulator or group policy requires data to stay in-house. The functionality is identical either way.

Yes. Multi-branch is standard from the Professional tier, and multi-entity groups with consolidation and inter-company eliminations are handled at the Enterprise tier. Each entity keeps its own ledger and statutory reporting while rolling up to the group.

The interface is responsive for approvals, dashboards and enquiry, which is what managers actually need away from a desk. Heavy data entry (posting journals, running payroll, stock-taking) is built for a full screen, because that's where mistakes are cheapest to avoid.

Compliance and tax

Yes. Submission, UUID storage, rejection handling and the e-receipt flow for retail are all part of the system. And because ECPA files tax returns for clients too, the coding and tax treatments are looked after by the same people who deal with the Authority week to week.

Updates are issued as part of maintenance. Because ECPA files returns for clients under the same rules, changes usually reach the product from our own practice before they reach us as a support ticket.

Yes. VAT, table tax and withholding are applied per line with the right treatment, and the returns reconcile to the ledger without a manual workbook sitting in between.

Yes. The chart of accounts and reporting structure are designed during implementation to produce the statements your auditor expects, whether under Egyptian Accounting Standards or IFRS.

Implementation and data

ECPA's own consultants. There is no reseller layer between you and the people responsible for the product, which matters when a configuration question turns out to be an accounting question.

A decision-maker from finance who can sign off the chart of accounts and the approval matrices, plus one person per operational area for testing. The most common cause of delay isn't software. It's waiting for someone to decide how a process should work.

Role-based permissions by module, branch and document type; a full audit trail on every posting; scheduled backups with documented restore procedures. For on-premise deployments the data never leaves your infrastructure.

Moving up a tier is a licence change and some configuration, not a migration. Your ledger, master data and history stay exactly where they are.

Commercial

Yes. User training is part of every implementation and is delivered by the consultants who configured your system, so the people teaching your team already know how your document cycles are set up. Refresher sessions are available whenever your team changes.

Business-hours support at Essentials, priority support with a named contact at Professional, and a dedicated implementation manager at Enterprise. All tiers include the periodic review that catches configuration drift.

Where the client agrees, yes. Plenty of them would rather not be named publicly but will happily speak to a serious evaluator. We arrange that at the shortlist stage, not on the first call.
